Creamy Tomato & Basil Gnocchi

INGREDIENTS

  • 400 g potato gnocchi

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 can (400 ml) crushed tomatoes

  • ½ cup cooking cream (15% or 35%)

  • ½ cup fresh basil leaves

  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan

  • Salt & pepper, to taste

PREPARATION

  1. Cook gnocchi according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté garlic for 30 seconds.

  3. Add crushed tomatoes, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.

  4. Stir in cream and fresh basil.

  5. Add gnocchi to the sauce, toss gently, and sprinkle with Parmesan before serving.
