Creamy Tomato & Basil Gnocchi
INGREDIENTS
400 g potato gnocchi
1 tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 can (400 ml) crushed tomatoes
½ cup cooking cream (15% or 35%)
½ cup fresh basil leaves
¼ cup grated Parmesan
Salt & pepper, to taste
PREPARATION
Cook gnocchi according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
Add crushed tomatoes, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
Stir in cream and fresh basil.
Add gnocchi to the sauce, toss gently, and sprinkle with Parmesan before serving.
