Classic Yule Log (Bûche de Noël)

INGREDIENTS

  • Sponge cake (homemade or store-bought)

  • Chocolate buttercream frosting

  • Powdered sugar for dusting

PREPARATION

  1. Roll a thin sponge cake with buttercream frosting.

  2. Cover the outside with more frosting, using a fork to create a “woodgrain” texture.

  3. Dust with powdered sugar to mimic snow and decorate with berries or small sprigs of rosemary.
