Chewy Chocolate–Candy Cane Cookies

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup flour

  • 1/2 cup softened butter

  • 1/2 cup sugar

  • 1 egg

  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

  • 1/4 cup crushed candy canes

  • 1 tsp vanilla

  • 1/2 tsp baking powder

PREPARATION

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).

  2. Cream butter and sugar. Add the egg and vanilla.

  3. Add flour + baking powder. Stir to combine.

  4. Fold in chocolate chips and candy canes.

  5. Roll into small balls and bake 10–12 minutes.
