Caprese Pasta Salad

INGREDIENTS

  • Pasta of your choice (penne or fusilli work well)

  • Cherry tomatoes, halved

  • Fresh mozzarella cheese, cubed

  • Fresh basil leaves, torn

  • Balsamic glaze

  • Olive oil

  • Salt and pepper to taste

PREPARATION

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water.

  2. In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta, cherry tomatoes, fresh mozzarella cubes, and torn basil leaves.

  3. Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic glaze, and season with salt and pepper.

  4. Toss everything together until well combined.

  5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
